Kornpat Kotchabhakdi (b.1990)
He graduated in graphic design and used to work in the Media industry. He fascinated by contemporary art and art history since he was young, In 2019 he quit his job and turn into a full-time artist. His works are influenced by Romanticism and Post-Impressionism.
He chooses to work with simple materials such as canvas, with his experiences in graphic design, his process bridge 2-dimensional work from computer to paintings. He mostly begins with an image or photograph that inspired him and slowly deconstructs its form to the simplest elements then rebuilds its image and meaning to elaborate his story.
